Produced great stars of period dramas. Created sound film Modoribashi in 1929. Gion Kouta Ehigasa – directed by Bansho Kanamori in 1930, with the famous song Gion Kouta as the main theme. The studio was dissolved in October 1931. |

Etona Eiga-sha founded by Isuke Tanaka, a wealthy Kyoto family. Kataoka Chiezo Productions sound film studio was rented for the filming of a rokyoku film performed by Tanaka himself. Purchased former Makino Production Studio from Kouzu in December. Audio Cinema Research Laboratory established within the studio. Construction of sound film studio. Began work on sound films. The company produced nine rokyoku films and entertainment adaptations, and was dissolved at the end of May 1935 due to opposition from his relatives. |
