Remarks

Produced great stars of period dramas. Created sound film Modoribashi in 1929. Gion Kouta Ehigasa – directed by Bansho Kanamori in 1930, with the famous song Gion Kouta as the main theme. The studio was dissolved in October 1931.

Remarks

Takamura and Tachibana join forces with the Makino family to establish Shoei Makino Kinema. A fire destroyed the company on February 4, just after its establishment. Built a barracks and filmed Adauchi Kyodai Kagami and three other films. Dissolved at the end of March.

Etona Eiga-sha founded by Isuke Tanaka, a wealthy Kyoto family. Kataoka Chiezo Productions sound film studio was rented for the filming of a rokyoku film performed by Tanaka himself. Purchased former Makino Production Studio from Kouzu in December. Audio Cinema Research Laboratory established within the studio. Construction of sound film studio. Began work on sound films. The company produced nine rokyoku films and entertainment adaptations, and was dissolved at the end of May 1935 due to opposition from his relatives.
